This ultimate “must-see” tour will take you to two of the most popular island destinations in the Cyclades: cosmopolitan Mykonos and out-of-this-world landscape of Santorini! Take a unique opportunity to experience worldwide known Greek islands in just a couple of days, as you stroll along the vibrant shopping market of Mykonos town, absorb the breathtaking view of the volcanic Caldera and witness the majestic Oia sunset in Santorini! This is an ideal opportunity for a short getaway from Athens where you can finally see both islands even if you only have a few days in the capital!

DAY 1: Your tour begins early in the morning, when the air conditioned coach will pick you up from or near your hotel in Athens and take you to Rafina port to embark on a ferry to Mykonos. Enjoy a nearly 3-hour trip in the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea and arrive in Mykonos around 10:00, where you will shortly be transferred to Mykonos main town (Chora) by the sea bus. We will continue with a 1-hour walking tour to discover the famous alleys of Mykonos town with an English-speaking tour leader, after which you will have a few extra hours at your disposal to wander around the labyrinth-like alleys of this unique Cycladic town, try some amazing cocktails and food or do some shopping.

The ferry to Santorini departs at 15:20 and you will arrive at approximately 18:30, leaving the rest of the evening to yourself. After being dropped off at your hotel, you can visit the villages nearby or head to the famous Oia village to watch one of the world’s most beautiful sunsets and the sky’s breathtaking palette mixing yellow, orange and red colors as the sun goes down.

DAY 2: Wake up in Santorini to enjoy your breakfast and spend the first few morning hours at your own leisure. The minibus will drop you off at the main town of Fira, where you will witness the breathtaking view of the Caldera and walk through the picturesque alleys and vibrant shopping market, or walk along the 2km long cliffside path which passes by picturesque villages of Firosfefani and Imerovigli.

If you haven’t seen Oia the day before, on your second day you may also choose an optional organized Oia tour supplement which with a small fee includes a round trip minibus transfer and a one hour walking tour in Oia, a small town known for its famous sunsets and whitewashed houses carved into the rugged clifftops which overlook the one-of-the-kind Caldera with Nea and Palia Kammeni islets that were created by the volcanic eruption.

You will meet the rest of the group in Fira town in the afternoon upon return from Oia, where everyone will be taken for 1 hour tour through the main town, before being transferred to Santorini port as the ferry departs at 18:30 and arrives to Piraeus port late evening, after which you will be taken back the center of Athens.

This tour is organized (group) with minimum number of participants 1, and is offered in English and Greek language. Other languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and German) are available upon request at extra cost.

Children (2 – 10 years old) and infants are welcome to participate with parental guidance. 

Please note that you will need to settle the Accommodation tax depending on the hotel category and class (3€ per room per night for 4-star hotels & 4€ per room per night for 5-star hotel) payable to the hotel upon check in/or check out.

Please remember to prepare a beach bag (with bathing suits, beach towels etc) as you may choose to take a swim during your stay in the island. It is also advisable to bring a light windproof jacket since it might be chilly onboard during early morning or late evening ferry travel.
