Can you think of a better way to spend the day than sailing in the clear turquoise waters of Polyaigos and experience the famous pirate hideout of Kleftiko?! Cruise along the colorful coastline of Milos, stop at jaw-dropping beaches and majestic volcanic coves, swim in exotic waters, visit utterly unspoiled landscapes and enjoy spectacular sunset views as the sun disappears into the Aegean sea!
You will start this full day excursion from the picturesque village of Pollonia and sail towards the west to reach the “Blue Waters” (Galazia Nera) location in Polyaigos island, a top yachting destination known for its crystal clear turquoise waters. Next, you will the visit the old Sulphur Mines, an abandoned venue that used to be the oldest sulfur mine in Greece. Here, you will witness the most vibrant earthly colors of red, yellow and brown, due to the abundance of sulfur and rust in the area. The cruise continues to the landmark of Milos, Kleftiko, the famous pirate hideout. Kleftiko is one of the most photographed landscapes in Greece, renowned worldwide, a perfect spot for a true snorkeling safari! After diving and snorkeling in the natural caves and underwater passages of this impressive location with dramatic rock formations coming out of the sea, your next stop will be the exotic Gerakas location, another interesting rocky geological formation only accessible by boat. Here, in this beautiful white thin sand beach you will not want to come out of the transparent blue waters.
Finally, with the sun setting on your back, you will sail back to Pollonia and spend the rest of your cruise looking at the stunning colors of the Aegean sunset.
Please note that the itinerary may be reversed or the schedule altered based on prevailing weather conditions and/or boat traffic at the visiting locations.
This tour is organized (group) with minimum number of participants 8.
Children (2 – 10 years old) are welcome to participate with parental guidance.
Please remember to prepare a beach bag (with bathing suits, beach towels etc) as we will be making swimming stops along the way.
All boat tours are weather permitting and may be a subject to change without prior notice if the prevailing weather conditions do not allow for a safe trip.
In case of strong wind, the boats usually modify their route in order to avoid the parts of the island that are mostly affected by the wind. Transfer service from the original departure point to the modified one is included in the price.
