Visit the fruit & vegetable market, fish & meat market, dessert shops and bakeries and sample local delicacies, traditional products and beverages.

Your tour begins with the guide leading you to the Dionysus Theater, the oldest theater in Greece. Then, walk up on the Acropolis hill while enjoying the breathtaking view of nearby monuments such as Herodes Atticus Odeon where modern musical performances still take place today. As you climb the Acropolis hill you will enjoy a full exploration of all its magnificent monuments built on top such as the Temple of Athena Nike, the Propylaea gateway, the Erechtheion and the astonishing Parthenon. After conclusion of the Acropolis visit, continue your walk crossing the beautiful old town of Athens, Plaka. Continue through the vivid and historic Athens Central Market, where kiosks with fresh fish and meat set the scene for sales as locals bargain prices down with the owners. Proceed to the city’s colorful, aromatic and spicy street market. Prepare to challenge your olfactory skills and walk through specialty shops selling traditional, Greek products such as  local wine, olive oil, cheese and olives. Savor fresh-made pies, Greek pastries and yummy wine spirits while gaining insight into Greece’s fascinating food culture, cuisine and healthy, natural organic ingredients. This tour is private for groups of 1 – 8 persons. For larger private groups (up to 20 persons) prices are available on request.
